Sunday School Makes a Difference in The North Texas Conference

 

 

 

The Sunday School Task force hopes that you will do the following:

Make Sunday School a priority in your church

Start new Sunday School classes and encourage existing classes to grow

Preach and teach about how important Sunday Schools are to making disciples for Jesus Christ

Lift up the importance of Sunday School each week by sharing the successes and concerns of Sunday School in your church

Make the North Texas Conference Office and the Sunday School Task Force aware of specific needs so we can respond to those needs.

Our Goal is 2100 new Sunday School classes across the Annual Conference. That is an average of 2 new classes in each church each year. We hope every church has at least one new class during that time, and we know that some congregations will need to start more than 10 in order for us to reach our goal. If we do this, we can reverse our decline in attendance and start growing again!

The Annual Conference plans to provide workshops, resources and learning opportunities to help congregations improve their Sunday Schools. Special events are being planned for congregations of all types and sizes. If you need help or if you have specific suggestions, please contact the following persons:
