Crossroads Community Services
Crossroads Community Services (CCS) is an urban outreach ministry of First United Methodist Church, Dallas, TX. CCS opened its doors as a community-based urban ministry of First United Methodist Church of Dallas in May 2001. Operating under the nonprofit status of First United Methodist Church (FUMC), it was developed out of the desire to better serve more low-income people in our community. Since 1926, FUMC has been known as the "church at the crossroads" that serves those in need with care and compassion through its local outreach mission programs. The name "Crossroads Community Services" also conveys the reality that many of the people coming to CCS for services are at a "crossroads" in their lives.
