    New Church Development Office

    New Church Development Office

Since the 1968 Uniting Conference that formed The United Methodist Church, the North Texas Conference has launched approximately 75 new churches.  Many of those churches have flourished to become dynamic forces for the ministry of making disciples of Jesus Christ in their communities.

The New Church Development Office continues to seek inspired, strong leaders to plant the seeds of new churches across the conference.  If you are a pastor and wish to learn more about New Church leadership opportunities, please contact your District Superintendent.

If you or your congregation have an interest in being a part of the vital growth of our conference, please contact Rev. Jim Ozier.
