Vision.
To spread the gospel and make disciples of Jesus Christ in a Hispanic/Latino context.Mission.
Call, equip, send, and strengthen discipleship in the Hispanic/Latino context.
Goals
- To continue encouraging, strengthening, and providing leadership to the local church.
- To continue promoting all existing Hispanic/Latino ministries around the conference.
- Work with the Creating Congregations Team to identify, develop, organize and support congregational systems to help non-Hispanic/Latino local congregations seeking to do Hispanic/Latino ministry in their communities.
- Work closely with District Superintendents, District and Conference Board of Ordained Ministry to support, guide, resource, and train Hispanic/Latino pastors in the process of becoming associate members of the North Texas Conference or with the process of local pastor, ordain elders and deacons.
- To establish and develop respect, honoring and mutuality between the Hispanic/Latino pastors, their congregations and the North Texas Conference.
