2008 Robert L. Robertson Award for Excellence in Communications
Entries for the 2008 Robertson Awards for church newsletters, websites, local church advertising/marketing and photography must be submitted by May 21. Awards will be presented at the Monday, June 9 Communications Luncheon. For luncheon tickets, please RSVP no later than June 1 to the Communciations Office.
Episcopal address challenges delegates to adopt Wesley rules, heal divisions
In the 2008 General Conference Episcopal Address, Bishop Sharon Brown Christopher, Illinois Area, challenged delegates to the United Methodist General Conference and members around the world, declaring, "It is our time to be the church of Jesus Christ."
