- 2 Year Old MWF Assistant Teacher
- 3 Year Old MWF Assistant Teacher
- 4 Year Old M-F Assistant Teacher
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Certified in CPR & First Aid
- Experience working with Children
- Good oral communication skills
Duties
- Support Lead Teacher in the classroom
- Assist in preparing the classroom for daily activities (cleaning, sanitizing, gathering materials, prepping materials, etc.)
- Assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe environment free of hazards.
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children at all times
- Accompany the class to Music and Motor Skills classes. Assist the Music and Motor Skills Teachers while in class
- Assist the Lead Teacher by leading the class in games, songs, or stories if requested
- Assist children in learning centers, small groups, art activities, outdoor activities, etc.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, coworkers, and supervisors
- Be prepared to lead the class in the event of the Lead Teachers absence
- Assist with toileting/diapering when needed
- Attend all TEC Staff meetings, age level meetings, and additional scheduled meetings
- Adhere to TMUMC Staff Handbook, TEC Staff Addendum, and TEC Parent Handbook
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent: Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, running and walking
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Indoors
